I schlepped it up the hill most of the day. First to this fellow who tried to eat my lunch at Sete and who whenever I tried to shoo him away looked at me and went “Fuck Offfff…”
Then to Darchu which has been leveled by the earthquake and is still completely in ruins. However, at the top of the village, the Sonam Lodge has used the stones that made up their previous large lodge to built a shelter consisting out of four rooms and a kitchen. Their Dal Bhat was delicious and the guides and porters that were there praised the Rakshi.
