The ride back to Kathmandu is ten hours and while it’s a scenic ride from Pokhara it was kind of boring until we entered the Kathmandu valley and promptly hit a car that was cutting the bus off. Luckily speeds are low because of the traffic congestion in the valley and no-one got injured. On the downside when I asked the bus boy how long we could be expected to be delayed he pointed at the policemen arriving and said “a few hours” I just grinned retrieved my backpack from the hold and started walking. That’s normally the quickest way to get anywhere in Kathmandu anyway.
