Day 11 – Akaroa

Akaroa is a historic village on the Banks Peninsula about an hours drive from Christchurch. Originally settled by the French it is now a tourist destination that attracts thousands of tourists everyday.

The Giants house is an artist’s residence on a hill overlooking Akaroa with a weird and wonderful collection of statues and ceramics.
